Construction/Installation Team Member (Looking to hire 2-4 team members) Pay Range: $16.00-$21.00 per hour, commensurate with experience Location: Lincoln, NE The Midwest Petroleum Equipment team is rapidly expanding and is seeking a skilled installer/laborer to join our construction and installation team as a licensed installer. MPE is a local leader in the petroleum equipment service and construction industry and is seeking candidates who want to work in a great team environment with professional growth opportunities. Responsibilities: Assist in installing above- and underground petroleum tanks, piping, pumps, hoists, lifts and other petroleum and lubrication-related equipment Measure, layout, hang, thread pipe, solder/braze pipe and set mechanical equipment Operate various power tools, skid loaders, air compressors, forklifts, excavators and other related tools and equipment in performing described duties Be willing to travel to out-of-town job sites and work outdoors Education, Experience and Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year experience in general construction, plumbing, mechanical or underground utility related field At least 1 year of experience with welding, fabricating and pipefitting preferred Arc, MiG and tig welding experience with various materials (preferably AWS certified) preferred Be at least 21 years of age High school diploma or GED. Additional training and certification provided Valid and clean driver’s license Able to pass background check and drug screening Follow safety procedures diligently Technical Requirements: Able to interpret blueprints, specifications, and other project documents Able to perform manual construction work and equipment operations General: Sound integrity and professional ethics Ability to build relationships with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and employees Ability to multitask, prioritize and complete projects on time Hours: This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday. Occasional overnight and out-of-town travel required.
