THESE ARE PERMANENT POSITIONS!!! 7 year old local and well established painting company is looking for more professional interior/exterior house painters and a painting supervisor, we are growing and we need more help ASAP! We are also looking for somebody willing to learn how to spray kitchen cabinets, we will train you and the shop is in Lombard. We are looking for long term employees to grow with us and we're hiring NOW! Employment type: Full-time painters, mostly interior residential repaints, some exterior paint projects and deck resealing. 95% of all jobs are residential and about 5% are small commercial projects. 85% of all jobs will be on the north side of Chicago and about 15% are in the western suburbs, currently we do way more work in Chicago but this may change soon as we are advertising for more work in the western suburbs. We require: • That you have a reliable, insured vehicle and valid drivers license. • The ability to pass a thorough criminal background check. • The ability to arrive at different project locations on time each day. • Must pay attention to project details. • Must work well with coworkers and customers. We will provide all tools, supplies and equipment. This position pays well and the pay is based on your experience level. If you have any snowplowing experience then this would be a plus but not required. We also operate a snow removal company in the winter and we own several Ford F 250 trucks with plows. Supervisor applicants must have at least 5 years of verified experience of interior and exterior painting. Working every other Saturday will be required to meet with our customers and provide estimates. • Must have great communication skills to communicate with prospective customers, current customers and employees. • Must have the ability to manage a small painting crew of up to 5 employees, must be able to effectively supervise and ensure that projects are completed on time. • Must thoroughly inspect all work when done to make sure that the project meets our customer’s expectations. • Must have some estimating experience as a small part of your duties will be going to prospective customer’s home and providing estimates for our services. If you have any snowplowing experience then this would be a plus but not required. We also operate a snow removal company in the winter and we own several Ford F 250 trucks with plows. Snowplowing experience is not required to be hired as a painter. Hourly wage is negotiable, will depend on production capability, skills, experience and performance. Because you will always be working at our customer’s properties you must be able to pass an extensive background check.
