Seyrek Sealers & Disposal is currently hiring for both our Sealing division and our Disposal division. Both positions include ability for cross training. See job details below. Disposal Helpers: Job Responsibilities: Collect both residential and commercial customers garbage Immediately reports all unsafe situations or service related issues to Route Manager or Dispatch. Notifies Route Manager of any incidents, accidents, injures, or property damage. Completely dumps all receptacles and leaves the customer’s location clean and free of debris. Performs all duties as scheduled by Route Manager or Dispatch and assisting other drivers as directed to meet customer needs. Preferred Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED Ability to work within a team based work environment Committed to delivering exceptional customer service Reliable Able to work Flexible hours Can effectively communicate both verbally and written Physical Requirements: Requires pushing, pulling, bending, twisting and lifting up to 50 lbs. Will be exposed to a physical environment, which involves dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes or similar elements most of the workday. Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time Seal Coating Employees: Job Description: Seyrek Sealers seal coating team is required to perform all work duties assigned daily. Each team member is required to meet company standards while out on residential and commercial projects. Work weeks range from 5-7 days per week depending on weather. Team members are responsible for the following job duties. · Clean Driveways and parking lots prior to sealing and paving services · Safely operate all sealing equipment including but not limited to weed whacker, push blower, or crack filler machine · Accurately apply seal coat to residential and commercial surfaces · Ability to manually use brooms, shovels and rakes · Effectively work in a team-based environment · Perform all other duties assigned. Physical Requirements: · Ability to lift 25-50 lbs. without assistance · Ability to lift 50-100 lbs. with or without assistance · Work in different weather conditions · Ability to work on feet for long periods of time Safety Requirements: · The proper use of PPE · Team member will come to work dressed appropriately for work conditions. · Team members with use of company vehicles will adhere to all DOT and state vehicle operation laws. · Within the event of an accident team members may be required to participate drug screening.
