General Statement of Duties: This position is responsible for installing measures as called for on work orders in a safe and timely manner while exhibiting quality workmanship. Examples of Work: • Loads and unloads trucks before and after work orders are completed • Maintains tools and equipment • Installs insulation, doors, windows, caulk, weather-stripping, sheetrock, tape and float, and other energy conservation measures called for on work orders • Measures, cuts, and installs glass and wood • Performs air duct sealing, and health and safety and repairs • Runs a blower door test • Performs work in compliance with safety procedures as directed by the Crew Leader • Maintains a safe and clean work site • Must be willing to perform other duties as assigned Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: • Ability to learn to read a tape measure • Ability to follow oral and written instructions • Work safely and efficiently with hand and power tools exhibiting quality workmanship • Be a productive member of a team and work effectively with groups • Lift and carry 20 pounds on a regular basis and up to 50 pounds occasionally • Be able to learn and follow company policies and procedures • Be open to overnight and out-of-town travel Acceptable Experience and Training: 1-2 years general construction experience preferred. Certifications and Licenses Required: Drivers' license preferred. **MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A DRUG TEST AND BACKGROUND CHECK** A pre-employment background check will be conducted.
