Join one of the premier Telecommunication contractors in the Inland Northwest. We are expanding our Yard Management team Pay starts at $18 per hour. Duties and Responsibilities: • Receive and unload various materials, required to produce fiber optic network, from semi-trucks • Load various materials onto crew trucks • Aid the Yard Manager in tracking the inventory of materials • General upkeep of the yard including cleaning and various maintenance • Safety is our top priority. You will be Potelco certified to operate a forklift, as well as attend our weekly safety meetings • The hours can vary slightly but typically range from 7:00 am – 3:30 pm • This position will be eligible for benefits after 60 days, 401K, Health Insurance, PTO based on tenure To ensure safety we provide and require proper protective clothing including a high vis vest, hard hat, gloves and glasses. Education and Experience: • High School Diploma or Equivalent • Related experience preferred but can train the right person. • NO CDL license required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: • Ability to work physically in an outdoor environment including being able to lift objects up to 50lbs • Ability to work independently as well as follow direction from the Yard Manager • Values honesty, responsibility, reliability, and team support • Be willing to do whatever is necessary for the benefit of the team. Flexibility is key as special projects can pop up. • Must be comfortable with computer technology or have a willingness to learn • Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills as well as basic math
