We are looking for an organized and motivated warehouse assistant to join our facility. Primary purpose: The Warehouse Operations Assistant should review shipping documentation, unload the merchandise, and execute local deliveries. You should also direct cleaning activities & fogging activities. Essential duties and responsibilities: The warehouse assistant will also assist in fogging duties as well. The fogging crew would be disinfecting high touch surfaces inside of buildings. They must be comfortable working late hours and must have a valid driver's license. Tasks require some physical labor in the loading and unloading of goods received and to be delivered. Work is routine and directed by established procedures with instructions provided for new and unusual assignments. Sweeps, mops, vacuums, strips, waxes and buffs floor surfaces. Cleans restroom areas and replenishes paper supplies and soap as necessary. Cleans windows, walls, woodwork, blinds and light fixtures. Empties trash receptacles; deposits recyclable material in proper receptacles. Sweeps sidewalks and walkways outside of buildings; polices grounds, picking up debris; shovels snow and/or applies de-icing compounds to walkways and driveways, as necessary. Performs minor maintenance on appliances/equipment, as abilities will allow. Schedule: M-F, will need to be flexible. Rate of Pay: Depending on experience Qualifications Valid Driver License Extensive and law-abiding driving history. Demonstrable experience as a Warehouse Operations Assistant. Knowledgeable about prominent health, safety, and consumer-related guidelines. Fine-tuned logistical techniques. Excellent verbal communication skills. A service-driven, warm, and accountable disposition. Physically fit.
