Job Responsibilities Filling, sealing labeling, stamping and stacking of bags on pallet for shipment Responsible for contacting a Supervisor when moisture standards cannot be achieved Ensures work areas are clean and neat Complete and verify all production reporting and quality documentation Duties Performs metal detector test and complete documents properly Clean magnets as required Inspect packaging and stack neatly Follow work order for packaging requirements and other special instructions Follow quality systems directives Perform other related duties and assignments as directed by Plant Supervision Minimum Job Requirements, Skills and Qualifications Minimum High School Diploma Competent use of business English in verbal and written communications Ability to read a digital scale Basic math skills a must Physical Requirements Must be able to work from heights with the assistance of proper safety equipment The employee is often times standing for up to 3 hours at a time The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 55 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds Must be able to climb stairs to perform job functions Must be able to work in diverse temperatures Positions requires the use of required personal protection equipment Employees will be evaluated based on skills and moved to different shifts/assignments as necessary.
