**NO PHONE CALLS AND DO NOT SHOW UP TO APPLY** - reply to the ad only please We are seeking groundskeepers to assist the head groundskeeper with the upkeep and maintenance of our professional ball field in Frisco. Must be able to easily lift and carry 50 lb bags on a regular basis. Job requires the following: Operate equipment including tractor, triplex mower, walking mower, drag machine, gators, roller, chalker Handle infield maintenance including dragging, hand raking, nail dragging, rolling, applying conditioner, and watering Handle pitching mound and home plate area patching repairs Hand water grass areas and clay and assist in making irrigation repairs Perform fertilizer and pesticide applications under direction of the head groundskeeper Perform gardening task including bed weeding, planting, mulching, and leaf cleanup Be able to work during the day and stay for the evening for all professional baseball games Handle installation and removal of infield tarp and be available on call to do so during off hours Maintain a clean workspace and handle shop upkeep/cleanliness/equipment maintenance Other duties as assigned Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times TO APPLY: respond to this ad, include a resume if you have one, describe any work experience you have if you don't, and include a brief message as to why you would be a good fit and like to have this job.
