Established in 2005, Statewide Land Surveying is a small business serving Oregon and Washington. We’re interested in hiring a full-time, experienced Professional Land Surveyor for public works and private development projects. The successful candidate must have a minimum of 5 years full-time working experience and be licensed in Oregon and Washington. Responsibilities The ideal candidate for this operational leadership position will have the following key essential functions and responsibilities: • Applying the laws and procedures relating to land ownership, boundaries and titles when reviewing survey work • Schedule and manage Field/Office Technicians • Coordinate with clients, reviewing agencies, and other interested parties throughout all project stages • Review and direct Drafting on appropriate boundary solutions • Certify that written descriptions of land and completed work meet legal requirements • Actively participate in writing proposals, pricing projects, review contract terms & conditions, and contract negotiations as necessary • Coordinate, manage and oversee services related to: • ALTA, Boundary, Topographic, Bathymetric Surveys • Construction Stake-outs • Easement and Legal Descriptions • Elevation and 1A Certifications • Plats/Subdivisions Qualifications • 5 years of Survey experience in residential, commercial and industrial projects • Professional Land Surveyor licenses in Oregon and Washington, with Idaho and California being a plus • Strong organizational, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, including survey staff, clients, and reviewing agencies • Highly motivated to move projects forward in pursuit of meeting individual, group, and company objectives • Proficiency with Carlson AutoCAD, Trimble Business Center, Trimble Access, HyPack, ArcGIS, and Microsoft Office • Ability to effectively present information to survey staff and coordinate schedules • Experience with Oregon and Washington Survey Standards • Self-motivated with strong time management skills and ability to sit for long periods or work outdoors and walk as needed • Quickly and effectively learn and implement new technology Company Description At Statewide, we thrive on providing price-competitive quality work across survey disciplines, with an emphasis on safety and shared team knowledge and experience.
