Dog Days is looking for smart, talented people to join our team. We are currently recruiting Dog Handlers to help manage our doggy play groups which are growing by the day. Job Requirements: * Must be at least 18 years of age * Experience working or volunteering in either a day care, kennel, animal shelter, rescue or veterinary facility preferred * Ability to handle dogs on leash or off leash in a pack (cage-free) environment * Experience and comfort in handling dogs of all personality types preferred * Confidently interact with large and small dog breeds * A flexible schedule with availability on weekends and holidays (we are open every day of the year) *Ability to work alone or with a team * Demonstrate good work ethic and enthusiasm for learning * Standing for the duration of your shift (5+ hours) * The ability to lift up to 40 lbs * Professional and courteous interaction with customers * Positively contribute to our team and possess the ability to adapt to changing demands * Commitment to ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our happy dogs! Dog Days is a growing company and an Equal Opportunity Employer. Applicants must have an open schedule, you will be required to work weekends, holidays, early mornings and evenings. Shifts start as early as 6 AM, and end as late as 10 PM during busy times. *Please note this job is physically demanding. It is not just standing around playing with dogs, you will be doing a lot of cleaning, picking up waste, and standing for long periods of time.
