Paradigm Properties Group, Inc. is in search of an experienced maintenance technician for a 328 unit apartment community in Shippensburg. Experience is preferred. Salary is commensurate with length and type of prior apartment community maintenance experience. HVAC experience a plus. Job Summary: · Responsible for the completion of all maintenance service requests as assigned. · Complete the turnover process of any and all vacant apartments as directed by the Property Manager. · Work within expense limits established by the Property Manager · Schedule and complete the “Preventative Maintenance Program.” · Coordinate special projects as directed by the Property Manager. · Monitor all work being performed by outside contractors. · Responsible for 24-hour emergency maintenance as scheduled (rotation) · Monitor and maintain all building systems as assigned. - Ability to maintain a clean work environment -Ability to change tasks on a whim if emergency situations arise -involves frequent painting, appliance repairs, plumbing repairs, electrical knowledge, framing (hanging doors, windows) · Snow removal is required. Use of shovel is required for extended periods at times (heavy lifting and long shifts) · Maintain a professional and courteous manner with all residents, vendors, contractors, and fellow employees. · Assure safety standards are being implemented and adhered to per the Employee Handbook and comply with all other company, local, City, State and Federal guidelines. · This job requires exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly. · Special projects and other responsibilities may be assigned and will be included as part of the job scope from time to time. - knowledge of swimming pools and chemicals (Pesticide category 24) a bonus Requirements: · Valid PA Driver’s License and reliable transportation · Excellent communication skills with customers and other team members · Effective scheduling and time management abilities · Fair Housing knowledge Be sure to supply a good phone number AND email address to be reached at along with a resume.
