Come cruise the strip on Hawthorne this Friday night! Dusk 'til dawn! Remember, the speed limit on Hawthorne is 20 MPH so please keep your vehicles way below that for neighborhood safety. Bring your cruiser, your motorcycle, your bicycle, your mini truck, your mobile DJ rig, your pickup with a band in the back. Cruising is the free, COVID-safe way to enjoy a night out with your community! The Hawthorne Cruise runs from the Safeway parking lot at 28th and Hawthorne to the Eagles Lodge lot at SE 50th and Hawthorne. Remember, state law provides for just 2 circuits per hour. Sewallcrest Park off of SE 32nd provides a great place to hang out and cool down between runs. Obey the law, respect your neighbors, and cruise up and down Hawthorne all night long!
