A local hotel, part of a nationally known hotel chain, located in the greater Akron, OH area, is accepting resumes for the position of Executive Housekeeper. Experience in the position is definitely a plus. Your responsibilities would include, but not limited to: • The day to day operation of the housekeeping department, which includes laundry • Establishing and implementing procedures • Enforcing established policies • Effectively staffing your department • Efficient scheduling of room, laundry attendants as well as common area cleaning • Assigning daily duties to your staff • Monitoring their progress o Conducting room inspections o Providing evaluations • Ordering of supplies for the housekeeping department • Attending regular managers and staff meetings • Other duties as assigned If you feel you are able to fulfill the responsibilities listed above, do you possess the following qualities: • Organizational skills • Strong communications skills • A strong work ethic • Attention to detail • Ability to work with people, employees as well as guests • Moderate computer skills • The ability to productively counsel members of your team If this sounds like you, please email your resume for consideration.
