Job Title Shotgun Attendant Job purpose We are looking for an upbeat attitude, multi-tasker with good physical capabilities. Candidates should be able to handle outdoor range responsibilities, assisting visitors with questions, equipment operations and ensuring safety measures are observed. A shotgun attendant must be professional, polite and attentive to details. They should be able to give safety instructions to visitors and perform in daily operations of the range. This will include: stocking and filling trap machines, and maintaining course layout and range cleanliness. Reliability and a positive team player attitude is mandatory as well as learning and understanding Rio Salado Sportsman's Club mission statement. Duties and responsibilities Monitor, stock and fill trap machines located on the shotgun range Collect empty shotgun hulls from all shooting areas as necessary Remove trash from receptacles as necessary Assist in ensuring all safety procedures are observed by all members and visitors Other duties as directed by management Preferred Skills Ability to multi-task. Must be able to communicate with management and supervision. Self-starter on duties without direct supervision. Working conditions This position works outdoors and may be exposed to high heat, cold and precipitation. Must be able to deal successfully with changing priorities and assignments. Flexibility of shift assignments is required- we are open 7 days a week and on most holidays. Physical requirements Must possess the ability to work outdoors or indoors in high heat as well as cold. Must be able to lift 40+ pounds. *Please keep in mind that we are an active outdoor shooting facility open 7 days a week. Eye protection is mandatory when outside of a vehicle or any building-at ALL times.
