Vero Beach property management company is seeking an individual to join our maintenance division. A Service Technician is responsible for inspecting our clients' homes according to a detailed set of procedures as outlined in our procedure manual. This is a full-time position M-F, 7:30 - 4:00. We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package. Must be able to pass a drug test and a background check. Responsibilities: * Complete detailed home inspections according to procedural manual. * Be able to complete minor repairs, such as changing light bulbs, touch-up painting, adjusting toilet fill valves and other general maintenance duties as needed. * Report any discrepancies to direct supervisor Skills/Requirements: * Experience with general residential maintenance * Ability for high attention to detail * Ability to read, write, and speak the English language and be able to communicate effectively with homeowners, co-workers and office staff * This position requires moderate to heavy exertion on a regular basis and will require candidates to be able to stand, reach, walk, climb stairs/ladders, kneel, crouch, and crawl * Ability to lift between 50 and 100 lbs. * Must work well with other team members
