Some poor fool has been trying to trash this place online for several years. Sometimes writing as a male, sometimes as a female, it's always the same evil screed. Obviously angry about something, they appear obsessed and perhaps should get professional help. It's not healthy. Yes, it's an open mic at a dive bar. If you don't like it, don't go. I'm a musician and I usually don't do open mics, but I was curious so I checked it out. It was small, crowded, noisy and a bit odiferous. Everyone was clearly having fun. Not my thing, but it was great seeing people enjoying themselves. I have a friend who's into drum circles. The idea of hanging out with a bunch of drunk, half-naked males, banging on a drum and howling at the moon, doesn't really float my boat, so I politely decline when invited. I don't feel the need to take to Craiglist to vent my frustrations with how dirty, nasty insects, poor musicianship, smells, etc. You -- whoever you are -- are obviously angry at something. Go get some help?
