Come Jam with Us! (once we're meeting again in person!) We invite musicians of all levels to join our jam session, where we focus on traditional fiddle tunes. These days, we are playing via zoom, but come join us and get started! We have violins / fiddles, banjos, guitars, bodhrans, cellos, flutes, tin whistles, ukuleles, mandolins, and all sorts of other acoustic instruments. We welcome more and varied instruments and would love to see some more percussion come out to our jams. All levels are welcome, right down to the beginner who just listens in and picks up what notes they can. For more information, check out our meetup page (do not email through this post). Tunes are those that are typically suitable for contra dancing or other traditional fiddle tunes. This group is intended to provide a musical home for folks interested in playing tunes with other musicians, learning to play by ear and overall increasing their own musical skill. It's fun and welcoming to all ages (see venue for any 21+ restrictions) and levels of playing.
