Landscape and Farm Help Wanted on a private micro-farm, market garden and homesite in Durham. Looking for eager, motivated, hard-working individuals who have skills that cover a broad spectrum of tasks related to landscaping and farming, plant care and nursery work as well as light construction, power tool use, equipment use and more. Duties will include helping with the new development of the farm, barn building and light construction, irrigation work, drainage and landscaping work, bed preparation, planting, mulching, weeding, mowing and landscape maintenance. This is an active farm and is currently in development therefor applicants should be effective multi-taskers, hard working and accustomed to working outdoors. Suitable applicants should be efficient and fast moving, goal oriented and self-starting with little management and oversight required. Some landscaping experience or farming/market gardening experience is a plus but not required. Pay is based on level of experience in the related trades and can range from $9.00/hour for entry level, low-skill applicants to $15.00/hour for experienced individuals.
