We are currently seeking skilled Maintenance Technicians to join our team servicing various apartment communities throughout Southfield. Ideal candidates will have experience with basic electrical, basic plumbing, appliance repair, carpentry, drywall, and painting. Knowledge of HVAC systems is a PLUS! TYPICAL HOURS: 8AM-5PM Monday-Friday, up to 40-hours per week. COMPENSATION: $14.00-$18.00 per hour, based on experience and certifications and determined during the interview process. BENEFITS: Medical, Dental, Vision, Aflac, Life & more, available after 60-days of employment. 401(k) Profit Sharing available after 1 year. JOB DESCRIPTION The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the overall maintenance at the apartment community as schedule by Staffing Coordinator on a weekly basis. Duties include but are not limited to. -Apartment Turns -Resident Service Requests -Basic plumbing, basic electrical, carpentry, grounds, and other related repairs REQUIREMENTS: -Willing to travel up to 30-mile radius from home address. -Dependability and Integrity, attendance is an imperative job function. -Demonstrate the ability to do tasks described above without seeking outside contractor help. -Physical ability to shovel snow, salt walks, climb ladders and stairs, bend, reach, move and lift to 50lbs. -Background Screen -Unrestricted Driver's License, as driving is an essential function for this position. -Basic Tools, i.e., cordless drill, screwdriver, wrench, hammer, paint scraper, etc. Detailed list provided upon hire.
