Maintenance Lead for apartments ensures that an apartment complex is kept in good condition for safety-, aesthetic- and property value-related reasons. They respond to and dispatch repair persons to address issues raised by tenants. as well as ensure that day-to-day maintenance is performed.
This includes making sure that common areas are kept tidy, and that routine maintenance such as painting is performed.
The Maintenance Lead may hire and schedule a staff of general repair laborers and maintenance workers, as well as dispatch them to apartments to perform repairs or maintenance and then follow up with tenants to ensure any issues have been resolved.
They also oversee general maintenance. Some prior experience as a crew lead or supervisor is required. They may be required to be available to respond to after-hours emergencies as well.
