Furniture Delivery Driver Multiple locations: Chicago, IL Pay: Up to $45,000.00 per year Supplemental Pay: Safety/Performance bonus Job Type: Contract, Ongoing Job Description: We are looking for a responsible Delivery Driver to deliver residential furniture promptly to our customers. You will represent our company in a professional and cost-effective manner to increase our profitability and customer satisfaction. Work Hours: 5:30 am to Completion (Usually, 2-3 pm) Responsibilities: * Deliver furniture to different addresses and through different routes * Follow routes and time schedule * Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle * Ask for feedback on provided services and resolve clients’ complaints * Complete logs and reports * Follow DOT regulations and safety standards Skills: * Proven working experience as a Furniture Delivery Driver (at least 1 years) * Valid professional driver’s license (Not needed if helper) * Ability to operate forklifts and tractors in a variety of weather and traffic conditions * Excellent organizational and time management skills * Good driving record with no traffic violations * High school degree COVID-19 precautions: * Remote interview process Applicant Qualifications: Requirements: * Must have at least 1 year experience as a FURNITURE delivery driver or helper * Must have a Class-C License if applying for driver * Must have a clean commercial driving record Language: English/Spanish Expected Hiring Date: 3 to 7 days Hires Needed: We have an ongoing need to fill this role Additional Job Details: * Contract Length: More than 1 year * Contract Renewal: Likely * Full Time Opportunity: Yes * Delivery Location Type: Residential * This Job Is: A job for which military experienced candidates are encouraged to apply, Open to applicants who do not have a college diploma
