Description
We are in search of a machine shop assistant and driver for our diesel machine shop in Fontana, CA.
This position requires you to fulfill the day to day activities in the shop. You will be working with heavy equipment and need to be able to lift diesel engine parts up to 80 pounds by yourself and be on your feet most of or all of the day when working in the warehouse. We will train you how to use all machinery.
You will also need to deliver and pick up parts so a valid driver license and cleaning driving record is a must.
Employment will initially be part-time but there is opportunity for full-time and overtime work as long as you can demonstrate proficiency in your day to day job duties. Hourly wage $16 to start, you will be re-evaluated in four weeks and considered for full-time employment and a pay increase.
