Multi Terminal Last Mile Carrier in need of a dependable Warehouse Associate Monday thru Friday. Hours 12 midnight to 4AM. Associate will offload truck and assist with sort of cargo for routing. Great opportunity for someone seeking extra work after 2nd shift or before 1st shift job. Warehouse experience not required but helpful. Must be capable of maneuvering pallets 750 lbs or more and up to 7' tall. Starting wage $14.00 PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION: Receive product into the warehouse, stage and sort according to customer guidelines. Must handle unloading and and loading of trucks as well as pallet wrapping. General warehouse cleanliness. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Follow established procedures for unloading and loading goods. Safely and efficiently utilize the warehouse material handling equipment as needed. Secure all bulkheads by securing items in vehicles. Maintain a clean and orderly work environment. Utilize dock restraints to secure trailers during the loading process. Use proper lifting and stacking techniques. Properly inspect pallet jacks and other necessary equipment. Adhere to all general and powered equipment safety rules. Report to work on time May assist with other warehouse-related activities as requested by a supervisor. Responsible for general equipment and warehouse cleaning. REQUIREMENTS: Must be 21 or older High School diploma Must meet minimum requirements on pre-employment drug testing and criminal background verification. Must have clean MVR. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds when required. The above job description may not include all tasks necessary to complete the job.
