General Summary Daily performance of all yard & shop operation functions, including but not limited to: material handling, receiving, shipping, stocking, house cleaning and customer service, assist the Shop Foreman in accordance with established processes, guidelines and productivity standards. Job Profile Attendance and punctuality that meets company standards. Performs work in a manner that complies with the company's safety policies, this includes housekeeping, organization, and use of Personal Protection Equipment. Conducts themselves in a manner that falls in line with company standards. Qualifications & Duties - Good verbal communication skills - Operate equipment such as bandsaw, radial arm saw, table saw, sanding tools, drill press. - Operation of Forklifts -Will serve as driver, and safely deliver products to customers as assigned - Safely load and unload trucks - Maintain a neat and clean warehouse. - Work with team and other department staffs to ensure all deadlines are met. - Fuel equipment as necessary when needed. - Fulfill other duties as assigned by management. - Ability to learn new skills - Teamwork skills - Basic time-management skills - Attention to Detail / Accuracy. Well Organized - Miscellaneous Responsibilities (General) Physical Demands/Working Conditions - Ability to lift 70 lbs when needed - Activities require handling and grasping with the hands when utilizing hand tools, power tools, air tools, nuts, bolts, electronic controls and handling of other small parts - Exposure to loud noise, dusts, gas or fumes - Work in both protected and unprotected weather elements - Ability to wear hearing and eye protection as required - Ability to bend and kneel for periods of time - Ability to walk and stand on concrete, gravel, and uneven surfaces - Ability to climb over and into heavy equipment several times per day - Ability to Work independently - Must have a good driving record
