Helena's Cleaners is looking for a new member for our team! The primary role of this position is to detail and inventory incoming clothes from clients. The job entails barcoding items, checking items for damage, and detailing accordingly (brand, color, item type, etc). The clothes that are being marked in have been worn - the detailing process happens prior to cleaning. This position requires a strong attention to detail - you will be expected to read/follow notes and instructions regarding the processing of the order. We have a high-end customer base and it is crucial that garments are marked in correctly and/or as the customer requests. We also have some larger, bulk-style accounts that will require a different form of detailing and in general, require a higher level of physical labor. This is a unique position and the workload varies day-to-day based upon incoming orders. There are other tasks that may be assigned to fill hours in the case of down time, to assist the team in other areas of the company. We are a customer-service driven company and this position is essential to the day-to-day operations. Our ideal candidate should have: - a strong attention to detail - the ability to work both alone and as a team - the ability to perform repetitive tasks throughout shift while still staying focused on the details - a positive, can-do attitude with the understanding that each day will different - willingness to learn new tasks and adapt to new situations The position: - 35 to 40 hours per week - The scheduled shift is 2:00pm to 10:00pm Monday - Friday but end-time may vary based on daily workload and other assigned tasks. Some schedule flexibility for right candidate. - Shifts will mostly be solo - time management and the ability to work independently is crucial - Hourly rate is $19.00 per hour with potential to grow rapidly with the ability to execute the position.
