I try to avoid silly catch phrases and slogans in life, but “don’t tread on me” means: If you respect my right to freedom and live my life as I choose and I will respect yours. Every person has the right to freedom and prosperity. Respecting others is how you achieve respect yourself. Don’t make assumptions about other people. Mind your own business. Respect people who are unlike you. Then we can all find liberty.
