We are a kitchen remodeling business located in Hialeah, servicing all of South Florida and the Caribbean since 2001, and specializing in the sale, fabrication, and installation of stone and countertops. We are currently interviewing applicants for a Stone Fabricator / Installer position. Basic details of the job are listed below:
Core Responsibilities:
Fabricate stone countertops & vanities (Granite. Marble. Quartz, Quartzite, Travertine, etc.)
Laminate, Grind and Polish countertop edges.
Perform sink cutouts (Overmount, Undermount, Farmers, Vessel.
Perform other custom stone work.
Maintain clean workspace.
Additional Responsibilities:
Carry and load finished pieces into client automobiles.
Occasionally assist installation teams during large installations.
Assist forklift operator in moving slabs.
Stone Fabrication experience preferred but not necessary.
Bi-lingual (English and Spanish) preferred. Other languages also helpful.
Professional demeanor and communication skills.
Ability to lift heavy objects.
Attention to detail.
Punctuality.
Proactive self starter.
Other:
Forklift certification and/or experience a plus.
General construction / home improvement knowledge preferred.
Any carpentry knowledge / experience also helpful.
Any skills that may assist our small business to grow also welcome.
