A Look Don't Touch Kinda Guy

Description
Frank is a very handsome cat who mostly prefers to be looked at, not touched. He likes me and my roommates, and sometimes rubs our legs or sleeps at the foot of the bed. He loves it when we walk by and exclaim, "Frankie!!" However, he hardly ever accepts more than 30 seconds of head scratches. Frank also loves laying in his favorite chair and laying in the windows watching passers-by. Frank the Tank is about 15lbs and 5 years old. He has pancreatitis. He is otherwise healthy and all that is required is following my suggestions which I got from the vet about a specific diet and low stress environment. Currently, Frank does experience some stress because one of my other cats picks on Frank. Frank also seems to dislike dogs for the most part. Frank needs either a home with zero other pets, or very mild mannered and calm pets that you are 100% certain will get along with this quirky boy. Frank will allow you to touch him more when he is eating kibble. *You will need to spend time brushing Frank on at least a weekly basis.* So far, I have been able to manage his fur by brushing and cutting matts when he's eating dry food and facing into a corner so he can't rotate away from me. He lets me know when he has had enough and I come back for more another day. This particular aspect of caring for Frank is the hardest. I have a very stressful full time job and multiple other pets, so I barely have time to get this brushing accomplished before matts form in his fur. This is the main reason I am seeking a new home for Frank. I feel that he can be better cared for by someone who can address his fur more regularly regardless of his particular needs. If the adoption agency I got Frank from had not impressed upon me that he enjoyed more physical affection, I would not be in this situation. That is why I am being 100% honest and thorough in my description. I will care for Frank as long as I have to until I find him a perfect home. He is a really cool cat. He just needs the right caregiver. They will need to have time and a little patience for his brushing times, as well as willingness to keep few to no other pets for the duration of having Frank, which could be another 10+ yrs since he's 5yrs old. Frank would do great in a small apartment as long as he can see out a window. I doubt Frank would like children who can't resist trying to touch him all the time. He doesn't seem bothered by guests or noise though. If you are interested in Frank, please be prepared to tell me as much as you can about why you are the perfect home so that I can make the best decision for him. We will agree on how you can provide proof of your ability to afford veterinary care since he has a chronic medical condition that could require vet care again in the future. Ideally it will be monitored with a typical wellness check annually. Perhaps there will be a rehoming fee for Frank's safety, but I am willing to discuss alternatives, such as a video tour of Frank's potential new home, a call from a veterinarian you are set up with, proof of income, etc.
