Work with your hands and learn a new skill as a seasonal glass & screen fabricator. We will teach you how to handle glass & mirrors, cut and polish glass, build new and rescreen existing screens, and install glass and mirrors into frames. This position is part-time up to 30 hours per week (preferred) and seasonal--running from now through the end of October as we move into Fall. The pay is $16/hour. Any glass or screen experience is preferred, but not necessary. Schedule is flexible, could be 5/hours per day Mon-Friday or a four 8-hour days. The working environment is a warehouse setting and you must be able to be on your feet for extended periods of time. You must be able to lift 50 lbs. Job involves using hand tools such as battery powered drills, putty knives, flat bars, and screw drivers; as well as machine powered polishing machines and saws.
