We have a beautiful Rhode Island Red Rooster who we are looking to re-home. Reds are friendly chickens with a good nature. They make good pets for children, but they can get aggressive when annoyed. Reds are tough birds, resistant to illness, good at foraging and free-ranging, and typically docile, quiet, and friendly. Our reason: We have another rooster who has been disowned by the Red along with all the hens and is clearly lonely. In an effort to have a happier flock, we would like to give the Red away.
