Job Description Summary: Operations Associates are responsible for completing tasks in a warehouse setting. Tasks include portioning, packaging, and labeling product as well as assembling, packing, and shipping orders. Shifts: ● We are an online retail based company and to effectively meet the needs of our customers you must be able to and willing to work weekends and holidays. ● We operate 7 days a week ● The shifts are 4 on 3 off 10 hour days. Some part time available. More info provided if interviewed. Essential Duties: ● Measure, portion, package, and label products accurately ● Pick and prepare orders for shipping ● Ensure Lean practices are followed including but not limited to daily focus on 6S & PDCA as well as following standards and providing suggestions for improvement Experience Requirements: ● High school diploma or equivalent preferred ● Previous employment experience is preferred; we are willing to train entry-level candidates Working Conditions: ● Warehouse environment (cement floor, fluctuating temperatures, machinery in use, etc.) ● Exposure to strong scents ● Scheduled shift start times are subject to change as needed to accommodate workflow Physical Requirements: ● Safe handling of product including botanical derivatives, colorants, and fragrance oils ● Ability to move safely in confined spaces, make repetitive motions ● Manual dexterity sufficient to open and close packaging, grasp objects, and use tools such as scoops and utility knives ● Ability to lift up to 55 lb. repeatedly throughout shift Technical Skill Requirements: ● Ability to accurately weigh, measure, and count product ● Ability to communicate in English ● General computer literacy ● Understanding of Lean business practices is preferred, training will be provided Soft Skill Requirements: ● Ability to maintain productive working relationships with others by showing respect for others and acting with integrity and honesty ● Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain focus while multitasking ● Demonstrate willingness to learn new skills What Success Looks Like: The ability to approach change with a positive outlook and creative thinking is one of the most important traits for an Associate to possess.
