The New River Community and Technical College Invitational: March 31-April 3, 2021 The New River Community and Technical College (New River CTC) Invitational began as the New River CTC Shootout in January 2019 as a one-day event to showcase area high school boys basketball teams, provide financial support for participating high school athletic programs, and raise needed funds for student scholarships. Now in its third year, the event has expanded to four days of basketball and grown to 20 area high school teams. The New River CTC Invitational has established itself as one of the premier basketball events in the state and will attract fans, top individual players, and top teams from West Virginia.
