Overview: Eagle Eye Networks is growing rapidly and seeking a Procurement Specialist to oversee purchasing activities and ensure that purchased items are both cost-efficient and of high quality from our overseas suppliers. The Procurement Specialist's responsibilities include ordering and tracking recurring supplies within lead times, identifying new technological changes and working with suppliers for implementation, managing supply costs, building relationships with suppliers while holding them accountable, and managing component inventory. To be successful as a Procurement Specialist you should be able to build and manage relationships, maintain effective communication through numerous mediums, and be driven to control cost.  A top Procurement Specialist should be able to negotiate well and ensure that all purchases comply with company and trade standards.  This position interacts with executives and provides a great opportunity for growth. Responsibilities Include: Oversee vendor and supplier relationships and communicate with via numerous mediums, in overseas suppliers hours of operation Place all supplier orders, track shipments and communicate arrival to Manufacturing Team Ensure supplier accountability from order to scheduled shipment delivery(s) Manage PAR value of components and anticipate manufacturing team(s) usage Improve component costs through volume negotiations with primary suppliers Source new components for testing, proto-typing, and inclusion in the EEN BOMs Continuous procedural improvement Minimum Requirements 2+ years procurement or sourcing experience (preferably in the technology industry) Strong knowledge of Microsoft excel High attention to detail Strong organizational skills Ability to multi-task and work cross-functionally with other departments Strong interpersonal skills Please apply via our company careers page website:
