Join Thomas Jordan to learn the fundamentals that lead to successful genealogy research for African-American families. About the speaker: Thomas D. Jordan is one of the newest board members of the Friends of the Harriet Beecher Stowe House. He is also the President of the African American Genealogy Group of the Miami Valley. He is the author of Double Jordan: My Journey Towards Discovering My Paternal Ancestors. In African-American Genealogy 101, he will share the fundamentals that lead to successful genealogy research for African-American families which helped him identify 13 of 16 of his great-great grandparents. Thomas, who is also an ordained minister, is a native Cincinnatian and proud graduate of Purcell-Marian HS and Xavier University (Ohio). He and his wife of 35 years. Jacquelyne M. Jordan (nee Valentine) reside in Mt. Washington. The Jordans are the parents of two children, Bethany and Natalia Marie and proud grand-parents of Anaya and Imani.
