Description

Learn how to fix flat tires, clean your chain, and fix rubbing or loose brakes during this 4 hour class. Want to learn how to fix flat tires, clean your chain, and fix rubbing or loose brakes? During this 4 hour class, you will learn about the parts of the bicycle and how to do some basic maintenance tasks. Participants will learn on bikes and components provided by BSBC, but may, with the permission of the instructor, use their own bikes. This is not a class on how to fix a bike that is in major disrepair, but on how to keep your bike that is currently working fine (or mostly fine) on the road.  BSBC is dedicated to making sure everyone remains safe and healthy. In order to remain in accordance with CDC recommendations for COVID, we are only able to permit a maximum of 10 people in the space. Each participant will need to wash their hands when they come in and leave, keep 6 feet apart at all times. Masks (3-layer fabric mask, fabric mask over a surgical mask, N95 or KN95 mask) and gloves are required - we have some if you need extras. Please do not come in if: - you feel sick, have felt sick in the last 14 days, or have tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 10 days. - you've been exposed to someone who has been feeling sick or has tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 10 days.
