Join Go Love NY for a private tour of the rose gardens and upper grounds of the historic Lyndhurst estate. This private tour traverses the upper eastern portion of the property and takes us through the spectacular rose garden, during prime blooming season. We'll also explore the remains of the Lord & Burnham greenhouse, discuss the ruins of the remarkable c.1914 swimming pool building once known as Helen’s Bath and passes through the fern garden. This tour combines the history of the estate and its residents with some discussion of trees and historic plantings. ---------------- Masks and social distancing are required. All attendees must arrange their own transportation, as we are unfortunately not able to provide transportation due to the ongoing pandemic. This tour requires the ability to walk over the uneven hilly ground for at least one hour. Space is limited to 8 people. Ages 16+. Tours are rain or shine. Tickets are non-refundable.
