Position: Landscape Construction Foreman Location: San Leandro, CA Compensation: $26 - $30 DOE Work Schedule: Monday – Friday (Occasional Saturdays) Northern Landscape Management, Inc is a full-service landscape and construction company. We provide full-service landscaping services for maintenance, construction, water management, tree care and hardscape for commercial, municipal and residential customers. We are currently seeking a full-time Landscape Construction Foreman, preferably bilingual in Spanish but not required, to oversee a diverse construction crew to deliver on-point customer solutions and job completion. This position requires the ability to work independently and as a team while meeting financial goals. This position will report directly to our Construction Manager and Company President. Tools, Truck, etc. are provided by the company. Job Requirements: • Must have a valid Driver’s License • Must have at least 5+ years of verifiable landscape experience in the landscape construction field which includes; irrigation, planting, sod lawn, bark /mulch installation and replacement. • Knowledgeable in making repairs to existing and installing new irrigation systems and programming controllers. • Have experience running tractors, bobcat, rototillers, sod machines, concrete cutter, etc. • Ability to be a leader, lead crews of 3-5 helpers and manage jobs from start to finish. Physical Requirements: • Physical ability and mobility to work in a field environment; • Operate assigned heavy equipment and vehicles • Requires prolonged walking, standing, sitting, bending, reaching, stooping and stretching • Ability to move, lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 30 pounds • Requires repetitive hand and wrist motions • Must physically be able to work in the year-round outdoor environment performing manual labor.
