Landscape Laborers/Drivers (San Leandro) $16.00 - $18.00 DOE Work Schedule: Monday – Friday Northern Landscape Management, Inc is a full-service landscape and construction company. We provide full-service landscaping services for maintenance, construction, water management, tree care and hardscape for commercial, municipal and residential customers. We are currently seeking full-time Landscape Laborers/Drivers for both our Maintenance and Construction Department. This position starts and ends in our San Leandro yard. Job Duties: • Perform duties such as: mowing, edging, pruning, weeding, blowing, and removal of debris utilizing trained company techniques. • Installation of irrigation systems, planting and mulch. • Work well with others in a team environment and be helpful and courteous to customers. • Assist with the loading and unloading of power equipment, tools, materials, and garden debris daily from Company vehicles. • Maintain appropriate levels of fuel, oil, and radiator coolant to service vehicles on a daily basis. • Pick up and deliver equipment and materials efficiently. • Keep driver's log and track receipts. • Interact professionally with crew and vendors. • Assist job site landscape installations and cleanups. • Maintain a clean vehicle (Company vehicle and fuel will be provided). Physical Requirements: • Requires prolonged standing, bending, reaching, stooping and stretching • Ability to operate landscape equipment • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. • Requires repetitive hand and wrist motions • Must physically be able to work in the year-round outdoor environment performing manual labor. Minimum Requirements: • Experience preferred but not required; desire to learn trade and skill set • At least 6 months of verifiable work experience. • Must be physically able to work in the year-round outdoor environment performing manual labor. • Valid CA Driver's License Required • Clean DMV driving record. • Strong attention to detail. But not required Additional Details: Weekly Pay Upon completion of 90-days worked employee receives uniforms, paid holidays, (3) sick days and after 6 months you start to accrue vacation at (1) week per year.
