Award winning Oakland based landscape company is looking for a talented crewleader with a Minimum of 1 year experience commercial or residential maintenance. MAINTENANCE CREW LEADER REQUIREMENTS : CDL - licensed driver for 3 years minimum Fluent English written and verbal Physically fit; ability to lift 50 lbs Minimum 3 years experience commercial and residential maintenance Minimum 2 years experience supervising others Salary is based on knowledge of the following: Education and experience Cal OSHA rules and regulations Horticultural practices (lawns, shrub and tree pruning fertilizing, crew procedures, etc) Plant ID and ability to enhance the look of a garden Pest ID and IPM Pesticide applicator's license / Bay Friendly certified Ability to train crew members Soil and site analysis for plant health Irrigation repairs and troubleshooting (valves, laterals, wiring) Set most controllers including smart clocks Leadership and good communication Good safety practices Problem solver and self supervising Equipment care and maintenance Smart phone and use of aps
