So republicans want it both ways. They claim to care about election security first and foremost but then the argue against a secure consistent uniform strategy for voting. The least secure way to hold an election is the willie nillie state by state way we are doing it now. Republicans obviously agree be us they are working desperately for reform in a few states.???????????? The electoral college is antiquated and useless but the republicans need it or they will lose the wee bit of power they still have.?????? Conservatives might as well throw in the towel. Your party is cooked. Stuffy old conservatives are dying off and the young generation are all democrats. Trump scared a huge number of people away from the Republican Party. ???????? The best strategy for conservatives now would be to abolish both parties. You are never going to get the numbers back. No political parties. No right wing. No left wing. Like the last one? Since you have no clue of what you are talking about here are some fun facts to ponder. The honest decent democrats spent a year with slimy lawyers to get around every law the would insure a secure honest election. These laws have been on the books for decades. Voter ID, registered voters only, US citizen and verify absentee ballots. The states are in charge of their elections and they set the rules. The dems went to the courts to try and over turn all these rules. The ones that are there to prevent cheating. Imagine that!!1 Why would they do that? One word. Trump. Come hell or high water they were not going to let him win. They could not. Don't believe me? They not only admit it but they bragged about it in a long article in Time magazine describing in detail how they cheated and broke the rules to beat Trump. Electoral college? Go to Prager University and watch the 5 min video on the electoral college and educate yourself before you make stupid statements. I know that you are much smarter and wiser then Jefferson.Madison and the rest of the white slave owners that wrote the constitution but there is a good reason for it. Without it three states would decide the election. This is why the dems,who have all the power, want to have power over the elections.
