Amateur looking for casual players

I'm an amateur mandolin player looking for people to play with casually. Most of the posts I see on here are looking for people who are good enough to join a real band. I will be upfront and say I am not. I can pick out a tune and I know a handful of chords. I can read sheet music, having taken piano lessons as a kid. I like playing but having other people around sounds fun. I would prefer to play written music or covers instead of writing our own material, and despite playing the mandolin I am happy to play things other than bluegrass. Open to a variety of genres and to a variety of musicians who are at a similar level (basic proficiency with your instrument, maybe the equivalent of 1 year of lessons). Guitar, keys, woodwinds, other stringed instruments, whatever. We could get together in a park every couple of weeks to play, with some solo practice in between. I am a guy in my mid-30s and I don't really care about your age or gender as long as we can get along. I live and work on the peninsula, so meeting up on the peninsula is easiest for me, but I could probably do SF. All meetups would be masked.
