ITLS - Provider Course ITLS is a hands-on trauma course designed to provide prehospital professionals with the fundamental knowledge and experience necessary to get the trauma patient from scene to surgery in the best possible condition. The ITLS course focuses on the skills necessary to recognize mechanisms of injury; perform an organized, time-efficient assessment; prioritize and perform critical interventions; and appropriately package and transport the trauma patient. CLASS DATES: October 28,2021 - October 29, 2021 TIMES: 08:00a.m. - 4:00p.m LOCATION: Ascension St. Vincent Warrick EMS, 415 S. 4th Street, Boonville, IN 47601. BOOKS & PRE-TESTS: Scott Township EMS or St. Vincent Warrick EMS employees may pick up books and pre-tests at their service. For all others taking the course, please email [email protected] or call 812-485-1911 to obtain a book and pre-test for the course. Pre-tests must be completed and presented at check in on day of the course. PAYMENT: Scott Township and Warrick EMS associate course costs are paid by their employer via invoice. All others will be required to provide payment of $32 via a check or cash upon signing in on the day of the course for cost of the certification.
