NOW OFFERING a new starting wage, with pay increase after 30 days + increased per diem! Our entry-level Technicians earn close to $50k in their first year with us. JOB SUMMARY: Although we are located in the small town of Alta, IA, many of our Technicians live 2-3 hours away in larger communities. As long as you can get yourself here and back home again, you are welcome to commute. Travel with a crew of 2-3 Technicians installing, maintaining and removing Meteorological (MET) towers for our customers throughout the U. S. If you enjoy working outside and like to travel, this is definitely the opportunity for you. WE TRAIN YOU, but some skills are beneficial. Individuals most successful in this role have spent time working outdoors in construction, farming, landscaping or cable installation. QUALIFICATIONS: Must be able to travel for periods of 1-2 weeks at a time. Must be 21 years of age with a clean driving record. Must be physically able to lift 50# throughout the day. Able to lift, push and pull materials and equipment to complete assigned tasks. Able to work in various positions, including, but not limited to, stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling and squatting for periods of time. Able to reach overhead and have a full range of upper and lower body. Some experience running equipment such as a skid loader and power tools is helpful. Teamwork - work well with others and have the ability to avoid conflict.
