Test questions and answers for upcoming DMV written test

I have an upcoming written test at the DMV and wonder if anyone has taken the written test recently and what kind and type of questions are / were on the test. By this I mean what were the bulk of the key questions and what are the focused categories, eg: traffic laws, road signs, fines & penalties, right-of-way rules, drug & alcohol awareness etc. Also how many questions are on the test and are there a lot of 'trick' questions I should be aware of? The driver handbook seems to be unfocused and all over the place and has a lot of 'bulk' or filler'. It's been a few years since i took one of these tests so i want to be prepared for anything. This is for a renewal of my driver license and it's imperative I pass on the first go as my work depends on this, and since appointments are required to do this, it's important to pass the first time and not have to repeat the test.
