Reports To: - Site Supervisor, Superintendent and Project Manager Job Overview: - Perform various carpentry tasks such as wood and metal framing, interior trim work, install wood and metal frame doors, install windows, acoustical ceilings, demolition and site cleaning. Responsibilities and Duties: - Follow directions given by Site Supervisor, Superintendent and/or Project Manager - Ensure that tasks given are being performed safely and in a timely manner - Ensure proper material and tool usage - Assist in directing and training lesser experienced carpenters and helpers - Ensure that company property and job sites are properly maintained - Comply with all company policies and procedures Qualifications: - Must have reliable transportation to and from job sites - Must work overtime as required - Must provide all hand tools (i.e. tape measure, squares, hammer, tool belt, chalk line etc...) - Must have basic PPE (i.e. work boots, hard hat) - Must have good interpersonal and communication skills - Must have valid driver’s license - Must be able to work in industrial environments - Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds - Must be able to work in hot/cold/dust/loud environments - Must be able to work at heights of 8 feet and above - Must be able to climb up and down ladders - Ability to read and interpret drawings is a plus
