This is an open position for a highly experienced fireplace service technician. You should have several years of experience working on residential and/or commercial fireplaces as well as having the tools to complete the jobs assigned to you. You will be issued a company vehicle to use for this job. Position Duties and Requirements • Perform the fireplace service and maintenance calls. This includes cleaning, diagnostic, and repair of gas and pellet fireplaces in customer’s homes or businesses. • Complete work orders on the job site and upload work tickets into paperless system using company issued iPhone or iPad. • Always follow all OSHA rules and company safety standards without exception. • Maintain a professional attitude and effective communication with sales staff, co-workers, and customers to ensure that your tasks are completed efficiently and meet quality standards. • Review your schedule every morning and ensure that you have the needed parts and accessories loaded on your vehicle. • Properly maintain company issued vehicle, electronics, and any specialty tools provided by Fireside. Additional knowledge, skills, and abilities: • The ability to self-motivate and complete tasks in a timely manner. • Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills. • Be able to follow your schedule and communicate clearly with customers and office staff. • You should be highly experienced working with gas fireplaces, pellet stoves are a plus!. • Be proficient in the use of fireplace diagnostic tools such as manometers, multi-meters, and gas detectors. • Have a current Washington State Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
