Luca is a handsome pit bull mix that has been through a lot in his 2-4 years of life. Luca is a very loving dog that wants to please, but really needs to have clear rules and boundaries to be successful. He is current on his Vaccines. Luca has a history of Skin Allergies and in currently on Antihistamine. He is Neutered and Microchipped. Luca is dog aggressive situationally, depending on the other dog, and the location, He is also leash reactive. Luca cannot be trusted off leash around other dogs, and will need to have an owner that is willing to work on this. While he is showing progress and responds to correction, he may never be ok with other dogs, small animals, or children under the age of 10. Luca is house Trained and is used to staying in his dog kennel when we are out. He knows the commands Sit, In (go in the crate), Down, Off, and Give. He is making progress to heel and walk nicely on the leash, sit and focus on me instead of reacting to barking dogs, and to behave around our older dog and our kids. Luca wants to know his role in the family pack and shows that he can learn new behaviors and respond to correction. The best-case scenario for Luca is adoption by an active couple or single active adult, with no young children or other animals.
