Join the Edgewater Environmental Coalition to kick off our beach stewardship days with Earth Day efforts.
Join friends and neighbors to help clean up and restore the natural area at Kathy Osterman (also known as Hollywood/Ardmore) Beach. Tools, gloves, water refills, snacks and instruction provided. Please bring your own water bottle and dress for the weather with closed-toe shoes (we have Sand Burs!). All ages and experience levels are welcome!

2021 Safety Practices from the Park District:
Per Chicago Department of Public Health guidance, outdoor gatherings have a maximum capacity of 100 people.
Do not visit the Natural Area if you or someone in your household is ill.
FACE COVERING is required.
GLOVES must be used during all volunteer workdays.
Sharing of tools is NOT currently permitted. Volunteers are encouraged to use personal hand tools when possible.
The Chicago Park District will continue to provide limited tools for workdays, such as trowels and gloves.
Steward is responsible for washing and sanitizing tools regularly, after each workday (help is welcome).
