Experienced maintenance person needed for apartment complexes. Job Summary: Complete and perform maintenance and repair work that ensures the inside and external buildings, common areas of the property, and apartments meet the Company's standards for appearance, safety, and overall functionality by performing maintenance-related tasks. Job Responsibilities: 1. Assists and complete work orders generated requests for service, as well as routine upkeep on the property 2. Complete "make-ready" process to prepare vacant units for leasing. 3. Cleanliness and overall appearance of the community's grounds, amenities, building exteriors, market ready unit interiors, breezeways, curbs, signage, leasing office, central garbage areas, parking lots, and other buildings and common areas to ensure that they reflect and represent the high quality of the community and company's standards.. 4. Supports cost-cutting and expense control programs by fixing rather than replacing parts when possible, not being wasteful with materials and supplies, and practicing the correct use for tools and equipment. 5. Demonstrates customer services skills by treating residents and others with respect, responding to work orders with efficiency and urgency. Working Conditions: Incumbents work both in and outside of units and buildings and in all areas of the property. Regular travel may be required to assist other properties as needed. Incumbents must be able to work a full time work schedule. Normal work schedule is Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m thru 4:30 p.m. Pay range based upon experience. This is a permanent full-time, year-around position. Benefits include holiday and vacation pay, Health Reimbursement Account and Simple IRA after 90 days.
