Full time opening at a veterinary hospital in Boulder, CO. Seeking an organized, morning person to help with the opening shifts in a busy kennel environment. Photography skills and dog training experience a plus, but not necessary. We will train the right candidate. We are open 7 days per week, and 365 days per year. All kennel staff are expected to work holidays and a weekend day. We share the load, and work hard to get employees off on holidays that are important to them. We proudly accept all breeds in daycare and boarding. Applicants must be able to physically handle large, energetic dogs on leash. We cross train staff with our medical team, so everyone can help restrain animals for treatment, give vaccines and insulin injections, and administer medications. We also have cat boarding. Applicants must be comfortable with cats and able to work with them. There will be opportunities for growth within the company, and supervisory positions. We will have a set schedule for this position once training is complete. The set schedule will be Monday-Thursday 6:30am-3:00pm, and Sundays 8am-Noon and 4:30-7:00pm. However, we will train how to work every type of shift we have during the training period so staff can cover each other’s shifts as needed.
